Bio
Kamila Lima, born in Brazil, is an artist whose work balances technical skill and emotional resonance. She spent years immersed in the study of art, attending drawing courses at Art League Houston and completing her education in Concept Design at Escola Mundracunn, as well as participating in painting workshops in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and other courses at Houston Art School. Alongside these experiences, she continuously hones her skills through self-guided practice, allowing her foundation in art to inform every stroke, line, and composition she creates.
Specializing in realism, Kamila focuses on capturing the essence of animals and sculptures, translating their presence and emotion onto paper. For over four years, she has cultivated her craft as a tattoo artist in Houston, Texas, specializing in fine art and floral designs. Each piece is created with care, attention, and sensitivity, bringing her art to life.
Her work is inspired by the stories of the people she meets: she strives to connect with each client, expressing memories, emotions, and experiences through visual language. Travel and the experiences it brings continually inspire her, infusing her creations with the textures, lights, and feelings she encounters in the world.
Carrying her small pocket sketchbook on her travels, Kamila captures fleeting moments and places she falls in love with, sharing them on Instagram. Follow her journey and see the world through her eyes
